» whitening at home, no trays
I'm going to try whitening my teeth at home, but trays seem like kind of a hassle, so I'd rather avoid them if possible. Colgate has a no-tray system (http://www.colgatesimplywhite.com/flash.html) where you paint the whitener onto your teeth after brushing. Other companies are selling whitening creams which you use in place of toothpaste. What brands work best? How does the effectiveness of techniques like this compare to at home whitening using trays? Are these "bleaching cream" tooth paste formulas (which my grocery store puts next to the tray-based whitening systems) much more effective than Whitening Crest, or any of those other, less expensive whitening toothpastes (which my grocery store puts in the toothpaste section)?Crest w...... - 2009-07-04
» Do you think the priest should refuse to marry someone if they do not attend church? ?
you need to give a reasonFrom my understanding, this is not really up to the priest, but the Catholic Church. I think it's the church that says you can't be married by a priest if you don't attend. If I'm wrong about that, I apologize, but I really think clergy should be able to follow their religious beliefs and their conscious when deciding which marriages they will choose to bless. We all get to follow ours, why not them too? Also to think about, the part of the priest's job is to counsel couples in their religion's belief system of marriage. Their belief is that they have a duty to God to refuse to bless a marriage that they don't feel will do honor to God. Also, if you don't attend church...... - 2009-07-04

» Any sole proprietors in Florida?
I've read two conflicting things on sole proprietors. It seems that few years ago, even if just owner is the worker, they have to pay WC, but then I read all non construction related jobs are exempt from that. I'm looking to start a photography business, so want to see if my only cost is going to be the filing charges or if I do have to do WC. » Temp Files Building Up in My Documents
For some inexplicable reason, temp files have been building up like crazy in my client's My Documents folder. The PC is running Windows XP Home, with Word 2000 as the Word Processor. Any ideas on how this somehow became the default location for temp files, and how to change it? Thanks...pcventures-ga: According to this page in Microsoft's Knowledge Base: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=http://support.microsoft.com:80/support/kb/articles/Q211/6/32.ASP Word 2000 uses the Windows Temp directory to store any temporary files. » Why does everyone tell you a good place to meet girls is a church?
I went to 11 different churches over the past 4 months and at 9 of them I was the youngest person there at 27 and only person that was single. The other churches that had single people around my age were different and very weird. The people formed cliques and wouldn't let outsiders in. I've not been laughed at by strangers like that since Junior High. Most of the girls I did meet that were single were just there to give the impression that the were "good girls." Out side of the Holy House they all just want to party, have several kids and are addicted to drugs that in my 27 years of walking this earth never knew existed. I never understood where people got the idea from. Why would someone send you into that situation without knowi...... - 2009-07-04

Hi All, Got XBMC using its internal DVD prog to do playback. When I eject and insert a DVD when XBMC's running it takes a few seconds to read the disk, then restarts XBMC. What it doesn't do is automatically start playback. I can play the DVD after the restart, but it's a bit annoying. Anyone know why this is? Ricyour bios is probably doing this, not xbmc. is xbmc your dashboard?your bios is probably doing this, not xbmc. is xbmc your dashboard? i've got xbmc set as my dashboard, yes. i've a TSOP/soft modded xbox with (I think, I didn't mod it) the EvoX BIOS. » How does one become guilty of sending spam?
A friend of mine sent some very innocent, sweet comical emails to a new online contact of hers, and the receiver sent back a very snotty reply telling the sender she is reporting her for sending spam and now she's in big trouble. My friend is afraid they can take away her computer and her server. What's the deal on reporting spam when it is so completely innocent? And what 'punishment' can my friend expect? How much trouble your friend can get? Not much. Since this was done only towards one person, she will probably not hear anything about this case again. Am I insane or what? My Olympus is not even 5 weeks old and now this? This camera is flying off the shelves. When I was in the store today, at least 5 people were asking about it. And to double my insanity I also bought a Sigma 70-300mm lens. What am I thinking? First impression? It's a bit heavy but looks like it's easy to use. I had to install the software before I could download the pictures, unlike in my Olympus I couldn't take outside photos because it was dark when I got home. Here's a sample taken of my living room. I am using old film from my freezer for my current photography class. There have been no great disappointments on purchasing film. Rusty TripodIt is my opinion that the sensitivity of even remotely well stored film is fine almost forever. these whips will run from junction boxes to recessed light fixtures. I noticed when you buy pre-made whips they have the paper insulation in themGenerally, those whips have the paper in them as an added safeguard against shorts caused by shipping and handling in the store. You don't need the paper, but be sure that the wiring has good integrity in its insulation - no cracks or breaks. -StuartIt is not needed if you are using flexible metal conduit and the correct wire types. It is faster and easier to use the whips that are mass produced. The cost is about the same as the flex and the wire. » Ajax vs Bayern
We've already gotten through to the knock out stage, but i'd like to see Bayern can win an away match. So far we only managed to find 3 points from Tel aviv, the weakest team in this round, so it would be sweet if we can beat ajax right on their soil and boost our confidence for the next 2 games in Bundesliga especially the one with Stuttgart. Ajax just moved to 3rd place in their domestic league by beating RBC Roosendaal 4-1 at home which just makes the clash between 2 teams more interesting to watch. :rolleyes:We've already gotten through to the knock out stage, but i'd like to see Bayern can win an away match. » Starting a computer with a ignition switch and a key?
I'm starting a small PC Modding business and for one of my cases I want to install a ignition (like the kind you find in cars) and use a key to turn on the computer. Does any one make something like this or how could I fix a actual car ignition system to do this?I remember some early PCs had such a key switch on the front, so they are available. You might try some computer flea markets and see if you can find them, or used cases with the switch still attached. An auto ignition switch would be pretty bulky for today's cases. Those key switches on older PCs were for locking the keyboard. They do not work well as power switches for modern PCs because power switches on those are momentary contact switches. That's why you see t...... - 2009-07-04

» Information about a Music CD Category
Many stores have commissioned music CDs that: 1) are not available in typical music outlets (ex. Sam Goody); 2)have their name on the front insert; and 3)are intended to convey some aspect of their store, or the store's customers. These CD's are usually compilations of artists with 8-12 songs. I have found the web-sites for two companies that produce only these types of CDs: www.rockrivermusic.com and www.n1ear.com. These sites give a good product description and show some CDs they have created for clients (esp. the Rock River Music web-site). These CDs are sometimes sold in the store, sometimes a give-away to good customers or sometimes a promotional item with a product. I have found CDs produced by airlines (United, Northwes...... - 2009-07-04
» How do you like to build your Web site?
I was just curious about everybody's preferred method of Web site building. I just code mine in HTML. Some years ago I took some classes in HTML writing at the graphics college where I work. There’s something kind of cool about HTML, about the simplicity of writing in it. Not sure why, but I kind of enjoy it. I’m a graphic designer by trade so maybe it’s the love of simple things. When I was giving the site a facelift a couple years ago, I tried a site-building program. The code it wrote was complete spaghetti, a useless mess, and it caused the pages to have alignment problems as well. I never published them; I went back to hand coding vanilla HTML and never used a site-builder again. I just did another major update for 2006. I spe...... - 2009-07-04

I am a straight man and enjoy wearing panties and thongs. It is just a turn-on for me for comfort reasons and obviously sexual reasons. My girlfriend doesn't have a problem with it, in fact, she finds it sexy and a turn-on sometimes. I am not gay or bisexual and have never been gay or bisexual (or transgendered lol). Just wondering if this is normal? (I don't wear them during sex or anything "unhealthy" like that) WHey, whatever floats your boat. I am a straight male and wear g-strings/ thongs all the time (Women's ones, of course). They are so damn sexy and comfy, once you wear them you wouldn't want to wear anything else. I've read soooo many articles and biographys involving how people got there clothing lines to be a reality, but most of the ones that become successful it was almost handed to them because they have so much money already they tell people what they want and they put it all together for them! hardly anyone will remember that we existed?? We'll be dead, some/all of our children will be dead, and our grandchildren/great grandchildren will only have vague memories of us, or probably none at all. Anything we have done, whether good or bad, while we were alive, will be not remembered or talked about. Thats why I think we should do what we like while we're here (within reason of course! I'm not telling you to go out and murder somebody!! lol) Cos in 100 years, whos gonna care???I have often thought this very thought. I'm happy to see that someone else has come to this view also. » gif file to translate into text
Hi everybody. I know my question can be strange... I made, some times ago, a French TV program based on a website parsing. I was parsing many program informations and one of those was the time of the show. It used to be written as plain text : 21.15 (for a quarter past eleven ) but now, they use a picture showing the time. Parsing can't retrieve a text from this picture... I would like to know, if one of you guys have got an idea on how to retrieve the time as plain text, from a gif file showing this time... Here is an example : 21.15 : http://tcsh.lesagencestv.com/php/images/img_heure.php?key=b9d83ca68f an other url give us : 21.20 : http://tcsh.lesagencestv.com/php/images/img_heure.php?key=cb1ed741f1 but I can get the same...... - 2009-07-04
» Do you get financial aid after your fourth year?
I ask because my professor thinks that you don't get any pell grants / any federal assistance (not even loans?) after your fourth year on the system.Financial aid eligibility is not based on how many years you have attended, but by how many hours you have attempted. Normally you can't attempt more than 150% of the hours required to get that degree. So, if you need 120 hours to get your degree, the financial aid office won't cut you off until you reach 120x150%= 180 hours Hours you enrolled in and then dropped, will count as hours attempted as well. So, in short, your professor is wrong. Contact your schools financial aid office and ask about their "Satisfactory Academic Progress" policy or look it up on their website...... - 2009-07-04

» Why cant chickens fly?
help!!!!!!!!!!!Actually, we bread them to fry, we bred them to not fly. I gave you a thumbs up still, but I had to be funny.Domestic birds bred to provide meat, including chickens, have massive, dense pectoral muscles, but wings of the same size as their wild relatives. As a result, they are incapable of generating enough lift to become airborne. Unless they build a machine out of their coops with help from a couple of rats...Chickens can fly. They are like quail and turkeys. They are a run fly and glide type of bird. A chicken can fly about 100 yards or so. A chicken can fly up into a tree and down out of it. To keep chickens in a yard it must have a top or their wings must be clipped. If they are very fat they might not. Its just the ...... - 2009-07-04

In fact I also noticed on my FD lens when it is on the camera and I look at the lens from the front of the camera I also cannot see the diaphragm move. The only time I can see it move is with stopped down AE on. I did hear that what happens is the diaphragm opens or closes to the desired aperture when the shutter is released. » Title of child's book on bison hunting
I am looking for a book that I read when I was in elementary school, in about 1968. It was in the school library, and was not new. It may have been published in the 1950's. The book is about a young boy who goes west with a group of cowboys on a bison hunting expedition. Hundreds of bison are shot and their furs removed, and the carcasses are left laying on the plains. It was the boys job to cut the tongue out of several of the carcasses, because that was the only part of the bison that the cowboys would eat. During the entire trip, the boy never took a bath. There may have been several similar titles by the same author, but I am not sure. I seem to remember reading more than one book with a similar wild west theme at ...... - 2009-07-04

She's jogging at one point in the video and the guy pulls up on the curb and nods for her to get in and she realizes that the car is stolen and they're chased by police and she ends up becoming his accomplice.

And what 'punishment' can my friend expect? How much trouble your friend can get? Not much. Since this was done only towards one person, she will probably not hear anything about this case again. » Is the paper insulation needed if i make my own flexible metal conduit whips with my own 14 gauge wire?
these whips will run from junction boxes to recessed light fixtures. Also you can use a 16 ga wire on a 15 amp circuit to a fixed load that is less than 6 feet in length. These whips are more limber than FMC...... - 2009-07-04

help!!!!!!!!!!!Actually, we bread them to fry, we bred them to not fly.
She's jogging at one point in the video and the guy pulls up on the curb and nods for her to get in and she realizes that the car is stolen and they're chased by police and she ends up becoming his accomplice.
